Shihan Jinzen only lost two fights in middleweight division and three fight in Open Weight Division;
Shihan Jinzen first International Tournament was at the First European Kyokushin karate Tournament in London 1978, in this Tournament he win three fight and lost his next fight to the former professionel World Thaiboxing Champion Lucin Carbin Holland. After four round of fighting the fight was still a draw, Shihan Jinzen lost the fight on weight scales, to Lucin Carbin, though he have one Genden ichi, becores of grappling and strike to the face. It is normal after the International Kyokushin rules that the fighter with one Genden Ichi must lose the fight. But politic in sport is well and alife, so Lucin Carbin win the first European Championhips in 1978. Shihan Jinzen was between the four and eight place in his first International Championhips.
At the British Open 1981 in London, Shihan Jinzen fought six fight at the same day (middleweight division).
The first fight in the morning at 10.00 hours and the finale fight at 24.00 hours . After winning five fights, he fought four(4) extencens rounds in the finale fight against Glen Sharp England, after four rounds of fighting and all the round was a draw Glen Sharp win by the tameshiwari.
At Sosai Mas. Oyama 2nd World Open Karate Tournament in Japan 1979, where there is no weightclasses, he win four fights and come to the fifth Round where he win a 10 place decided by the total numbers of the tameshiwari boards broken. In the 2nd round he win by Ippon with a mawashigeri to the head v/s Peter Wolfe 3. Dan Australia. In the fourth Round he was making a succesfully tameshiwari with Empi, but he broke his right arms triceps m. and fought two fight with just one arm; the first fights v/s P. Haulhoy Thailand professionel thaiboxer, Shihan Flemming Jinzen win by be superior decision in the first round and is now redy for his fifth fight in the fifth(5) Round v/s Creton from Britan, that just have a lucky draw, when he past By in the first Round and win one fight wothout fighting when the South Africa and the Russian team cant fight be cores the political problems in the world. Shihan Flemming succeeded to fight 8 min against Creton of Britan with just one arm, but lost to Creton in the extension. Although Creton won the battle , he had to withdraw due to injury and was not abel to fight Willie William in his next fight for the quarter finale be cores of leg injuries. Creton win a 6 place after the total number of tameshiwari boards broken.
At the International Kyokushin Tournament Holland Open 1983, he foght him self to the finale after winning four fights, (1. Jugoslavia Champion Alojz Soic,2. Ceno Maxer Liechtesenstein, 3. Kooen Scharrenberg Holland, 4. Andi hug Swetzerland) and in his his fifth fight he fought in the finale against Michel Wedel 100 kg, and194 cm and lost by K.O. But win 2nd place and the Fighter trophy. Shihan Jinzen 73,5kg was the first European Kyokushin fighter to win a 2nd place in Holland Open in Open weight Division and not be a Dutchman.
At the 3rd World Open Kyokushin Karate Tournament 1984 (with no weightclasses) after a very hard fight he was winning against the America Champion Richard T Romero USA, in his next fight he win by Ippon when he executed a powerfull mawashigeri to the head after 12 second of fighting against Paul Wittaker Ireland, the public appreciated the great fighting spirit from Shihan Flemming Jinzen when he fougt against Shihan Henry Bosman South Africa 115kg 198 cm high, after four round of fighting jinzen win by weight be cores of a weight difference of 43 kg, at his four fight he lost to David Green England be cores of leg injuries.
